The AC2305B is a premium, mid sized bandsaw within our Craft range, with many features normally found on larger, more expensive machines but in a moderate size.

This bandsaw has a welded steel chassis with great strength designed within it in the form of extra stiffening and bracing. It has a generously sized, cast iron table with a 19mm mitre fence slot. The cast iron table mounting trunnions are extra widely spaced, giving a high degree of table support, but also ensuring that the table tilt is smooth in operation.

The rip fence cam locks solidly to the front rail and is adjustable to the blade for accuracy. Twin scales allow the fence to be used either side of the blade. This bandsaw has large ceramic side and thrust blade guides, these give great blade support for increased accuracy and are almost impossible to wear out. Once set, they stay set unless you change the width of the blade. A rack and pinion system adjusts the upper blade guide height.

The efficient dust extraction is via two ports, one close to the bottom guides, the other in the lower wheel cabinet. An interconnecting hose means just one 100mm connection port needs coupling to a suitable chip extractor. There are twin blade speeds, giving flexibility for many jobs. A powerful induction motor drives the bandsaw through a multi V belt and is quiet and reliable. Supplied with a steel leg stand with rubber feet and a UK made general purpose blade. There is a whole range of different blades available to suit any task. With its extra capacities this bandsaw will handle many tasks required by an enthusiastic home woodworker.
